The beauty of abstract art is that it can be interpreted in so many different ways. For me, it’s a rising sun, but also a daily rediscovery and appreciation of your radiant self. Now the fall has just begun, I felt the urgency to add some happy, bright colours to the palette :). Enjoy!

This artwork ‘Rising sun 05’ is made of high end upholstery fabric (amongst others: De Ploeg en Kvadrat) in beautiful bright colours. I use the leftovers from furniture manufacturers that are just too small for them to use, but are still brand new and beautiful. At first glance the art is graphic and abstract, but there is softness in it, warmth. By stretching the fabric like a painting on a window, the lines come to life.
Size: 50 x 60 cm (excluding wooden frame), framed in a natural wooden frame.
Shipping: you can either collect your artwork in Vught – The Netherlands – or I can have it shipped to you (additional charges apply).

This is an original artwork, only one has ever been made in this colour and textile combination. Let me know if you have any questions!
