Hi!

Manon Garritsen creates textile, graphic wall art that softly enhances your interior and contributes to improved acoustics. Large, often geometric surfaces, a reduced and finely nuanced choice of colours, layering, and depth. This is what characterises Manon Garritsen’s work. In her textile artworks, beauty meets restraint.

Manon enjoys working with the finest, high-quality upholstery fabrics. She uses remnants from furniture manufacturers that are just too small for them to use, yet are still brand new and beautiful. At first glance, the art is graphic and abstract, yet it possesses a softness and warmth. By stretching the fabric like a painting on a frame, the lines come to life, and “the canvas becomes the painting.” Manon is increasingly curious about the possibilities of using paint on her own designed canvas, adding extra feeling and depth to her work.

Custom Work. Manon loves to create personal work. In close consultation with the client, Manon creates a work of art that compliments the interior in terms of color, size, and aesthetics. If desired, the abstract composition can express your personal story. Custom work will be professionally framed by master framer Monart in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
